Roo was the 3rd Kalimor to go to the Palmer household, and he was a delight to live with, a real loveable clown. Truly a gentleman with a temperament second to none. 
He took to his gundog training like a duck to water and became a valued member of the beating and picking up team on his local shoot. He toyed with the showring and had some creditable wins including a CC and BOB but his heart was never really in it. 
Sadly he passed away in September 2011 after a very short illness. Karen, Steve and Pat are devastated by this loss and find the huge grey hole he has left very hard to fill. Steve has lost his fishing companion and his best friend. 
Kalimor Cody joined the household in 2009 and he misses his uncle Roo who had taken him under his wing and provided a warm body for him to curl up to.   
Roo joins Karen, Steve and Pat's  earlier weimaraners, Storm (Kalimor Firestorm) and Thomas ( Sh Ch Kalimor Kavanagh) in doggy heaven and I am sure they are taking care of him. Run free Roo and sweet dreams. You were much loved and will never be forgotten.
